Alex M. Denault, J.D., LL.M.

For nearly two decades, Alexandre (“Alex”) M. Denault has successfully handled important and complex matters for his clients.

Alex focuses his practice on domestic and international tax matters, estate and trust planning, and business and corporate transactions. He is a frequent speaker and author on a wide variety of tax and business law topics.

Prior to founding Denault Law, Alex was a Managing Director (M&A Tax) at the “Big Four” accounting firm KPMG, where he led buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions for public companies, private equity firms and entrepreneurs. Prior to that, Alex was a Tax Partner at the national law firm of Akerman LLP where he advised clients on a variety of tax related matters.

Alex has extensive experience representing high-net-worth individuals and families, advising on trust and estate planning as well as personal income tax and wealth transfer matters. His practice includes the representation of charitable organizations including Section 501(c)(3) public charities and private foundations.

Alex is a recognized leader in the legal aspects of the Corporate Transparency Act.
